Willow Fork Park is a 32 acre multipurpose park maintained by the Willow Fork Drainage District. It opened in 2016 with paved trails, a lake, and more than 15 species of trees. There is free WiFi, educational signage detailing the natural environment, solar-powered lighting, boardwalks, a pedestrian bridge, playground, disc golf, dog waste stations, and a pavilion facility with restrooms, picnic tables and grills.
The park's pavilion is available on a first-come, first-served basis. No planned, large scale events are allowed so it remains accessible to all residents.
In 2019, Friends of Willow Fork Park spearheaded the opening of a butterfly garden with more than 60 plants of 25 different species and six different native prairie grasses.
The site is a certified and registered Monarch Waystation, providing milkweeds, nectar sources and shelter needed to sustain monarch butterflies as they migrate through North America.
