Brinks Truck Robbed in Waller

WALLER, Texas (Covering Katy News) – The FBI needs the public’s help identifying and locating two men who robbed an armored truck in Waller, TX on November 3, 2018. Waller County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the robber.

The robbery occurred at approximately 9:03 a.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2018, near the Wells Fargo ATM located at 2313 Main Street in Waller, TX.

During the robbery, the suspects rushed an armored car driver who was servicing a nearby ATM. One suspect pointed a silver handgun at the armored car driver while the other sprayed pepper spray at the driver’s face. The suspects fled the area with an undisclosed amount of money in a stolen, black, extended cab Toyota Tacoma truck. Police recovered the vehicle on Sunday, November 4, 2018.

One suspect is described as a black male wearing a black Nike sweatshirt, black gloves, and a black face-mask. The other suspect is described as a black male who was also wearing a black face-mask.
