KATY (Covering Katy News) – Position 1 Katy school board candidate Duke Keller has a big lead in campaign donations leading up to the May 4 election. Keller is running against Sean Dolan and Rebecca Fox.
In a campaign finance report filed April 4, 2019, candidate Keller had received a total of $5,150 in donations. Two supporters gave him $500 and they were the highest monetary donors. One supporter made a non-monetary, “in kind” donation of advertising valued at $1,500. He had a total of $903 in donations of $50 or less and outstanding loans of $5,074.
In a campaign finance report filed April 3, 2019, candidate Fox had received a total of $1,724 in political contributions. She had a total of $172 that has been donated by those giving $50 or less. Her highest monetary contribution was one donation of $300. Fox has loaned her campaign $3,000.
In a campaign finance report filed April April 5, 2019 candidate Dolan had received a total of $1,555 in monetary political donations which includes 10 contributions for $50 or less and a $255 in-kind political contribution of food and beverage “for an event at home.” His largest single donation was $300 from one supporter. Dolan has outstanding loans of $2,050 to his campaign.
