KATY, TX (Covering Katy News) — Deputies responding to a report of an armed man banging on a front door in the Williamsburg Colony neighborhood made an arrest on weapons and assault charges following a brief investigation Monday afternoon.
"A 16-year-old male was taken into custody and charged with Aggravated Assault and Unlawful Carry of a Weapon," the Precinct 5 Constable's Office said in a social media post.
Constable Terry Allbritton's deputies were dispatched to the 22600 block of Leedstown Lane, near Franz and Elrod roads, after receiving the report. Deputies located the suspect's vehicle nearby, made contact at the residence where the vehicle was parked and conducted an investigation before taking the juvenile into custody.
