KATY, Texas (Covering Katy News) — Drivers using the Grand Parkway and Fort Bend Parkway should expect several overnight and daytime lane closures during the week of Aug. 24 as crews continue work along the toll roads.
Grand Parkway
A long-term closure remains in place on the northbound Grand Parkway frontage road at Peek Road. The outside lane is scheduled to remain continuously closed through Aug. 31.
Drivers also can expect alternating northbound main lane closures at Bellaire Boulevard overnight Aug. 24 into Aug. 25. The closures are scheduled from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Fort Bend Parkway
Southbound drivers will encounter alternating main lane closures at the Fondren Toll Plaza overnight Aug. 24 into Aug. 25. The closures are scheduled from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Farther north, the northbound right main lane and shoulder will be closed from the Fort Bend Parkway Extension Plaza to the Chimney Rock exit from Aug. 24 through Aug. 28.
Those closures will occur daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and are within the portion of the Fort Bend Toll Road managed by the Harris County Toll Road Authority.
Westpark Tollway
No lane closures are scheduled on the Westpark Tollway for the week of Aug. 24.
