Wife Charged – Husband expected to survive Cinco Ranch Shooting

KATY/FORT BEND – A Cinco Ranch woman is accused of shooting her husband after an altercation late Wednesday night. It happened at about 11:30 p.m.

Bridgette Turner, 46, has been charged with aggravated assault on a family member with serious bodily injury, a first-degree felony.

The shooting happened inside their home on Sandersgate Lane which is near Cinco Ranch Boulevard and Gaston Road.

Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Deputies say Turner drove her husband to the nearby Willowfork Fire Department for treatment after the shooting. The injured man sustained a wound to the abdomen and was airlifted to Houston for treatment. The husband was in critical condition at the time he was taken to the hospital but he is expected to survive.

A teenage girl was home at the time but did not witness the shooting according to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office.
