Watch Sully as he says goodbye to George H.W. Bush -VIDEO

When a columnist from a national publication made strangely critical comments about the photo of President George H.W. Bush’s service dog it caused a firestorm of backlash against the writer. Many members of the general public saw the comments as petty.  Additionally, they did not know that President Bush had a good looking service dog. The photo was provided on Twitter by Bush family spokesman Jim McGrath with the caption “Mission Complete.”

Now, millions of American’s want to see more pictures and video of the dog who became part of the former President’s life following the death of his wife Barbara earlier this year.

Covering Katy has a video of Sully from the morning of Dec. 3, 2018, when President Bush’s body was taken from a Houston funeral homebound for Washington D.C. We thought you’d like to see it. The video is posted above.


Sully’s full name is Sully H.W. Bush.  Soon he will join the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center’s Facility Dog Program where he will help wounded veterans.
