WEST HARRIS COUNTY (Covering Katy News) – Six juveniles have been arrested in the Brenwood Park subdivision after evading law enforcement. The subdivision is off Greenhouse Road near West Little York. See map below.
Quick response by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies and officers of the Cy-Fair ISD Police are credited with the arrests.
Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a burglary in progress call at a home in the 19200 block of Sandleford drive. The caller stated that 6 male were attempting to enter a home. The juvenile males did kick open the front door of the residence according to the HCSO.
Responding deputies were at the home within minutes, and all the juvenile males fled the backyard of the residence to the baseball fields of Cypress Lakes High School.

Cy-Fair ISD police officers were alerted after the males were fleeing from deputies on school grounds. There was a temporary lockdown put in place of the High School and the adjacent McFee elementary school.
Cy-Fair officers detained four juveniles who attempt ed to evade them. All six juveniles were detained after a short while and transported back to the original scene. The lockdown was lifted after there was no danger present to children or staff.
All six are currently being detained.
