Man Accused of Pointing Gun at a Store Employee

WEST HARRIS COUNTY (Covering Katy News) – Harris County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit investigators need the public’s help in identifying a male who pointed a pistol at a loss prevention officer at a Kohl’s store on Barker Cypress Road just north of FM 529. The incident allegedly happened in January but detectives only reached out for the public’s help on Friday.

Investigators say the pair was observed placing numerous items under the seating area of a shopping cart. A loss prevention officer confronted them as they exited.  While asking the male and female subject to return inside the man allegedly pointed a pistol at them. The couple then fled to a pickup truck and drove away.

The male is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 180 lbs. He has sandy brown colored hair and a goatee mustache.

The female is 5 feet 7 inches in height and weighs about 150 lbs. with long light brown or red colored hair.

They left in a light blue or silver colored Chevrolet or GMC pickup truck with silver mag wheels. It also has black colored window visors. Anyone with information is urged to call the HCSO Robbery division at 713-274-9210.
