Late Night 140 MPH Motorcycle Chase

The chase ended on the Katy Freeway feeder road westbound near Sherwood Forest Street.

KATY/WEST HARRIS  COUNTY (Covering Katy News) – A biker led state police on a high speed chase reaching speeds of 140 miles per hour before crashing into a car on the Katy Freeway feeder road late last night. The crash happened at about 11:45 p.m. Tuesday.

The chase started on Fry Road near the Katy Freeway.  The male rider refused to stop. The biker went eastbound on the Katy Freeway to Beltway 8 where he made a u-turn and headed west on the Katy Freeway feeder road. Just moments later he hit the back of a car traveling in the right lane near Sherwood Forest Street.

The biker was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
