KATY (Covering Katy News) – Katy Taste Fest, the annual festival for foodies, will take place at Villagio Town Center on Saturday, March 24, 2018. The festival celebrates all things food from some of the best Katy restaurants. The event is from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. The VIP event starts at 10 a.m.
The Villagio Town Center is located at 22762 Westheimer Parkway Katy, TX 77450 at the intersection of Peek Road, across from the Monty Ballard YMCA.
The emphasis is on food, family, and fun with bites from 35 local restaurants, a VIP area, cooking demonstrations, beer/wine, a large kids zone, live entertainment, and a silent auction. There will be fun for the whole family. Ticket prices start at $25 for the 2018 festival are available at www.KatyTasteFest.com.
The second annual festival will feature more than 70 tastes and bites from new to classic favorites. The festival will focus on celebrating the diversity of the restaurant scene. Cuisines represented will include Indian, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, South African, Mexican, Peruvian, Italian, Mediterranean, farm to table, burgers, BBQ, steaks, Creole, and seafood.
Participants include Whiskey Cake, Dish Society, Jimmy Changas, Local Table, Spicy Isle Carribean, Tandoori Grill, Agave Rio, Aloha Pho and many more. A full list of participating restaurants.

“This is a celebration to enjoy the diversity of Katy’s restaurant scene while being able to give back to the community,” said Cyril Thomas, festival coordinator.
Katy Taste Fest has partnered with several local nonprofits that focus on abused, neglected, and abandoned children including Katy Cares, Westside Homeless Prevention, Krause Children’s Center, and Armor of Hope Foundation.
