CITY OF KATY (Covering Katy News) – The Katy Business Association honored the Katy Fire and EMS with Breakfast Tacos from Snappy’s on Tuesday morning.

The KBA also presented a picture to the Fire Chef Russell Wilson. The photo will hang in the department’s kitchen.

The Katy Fire Station was damaged by Hurricane Harvey, but that did not stop firefighters from helping others.

“We all were so happy to see what wonderful young men are doing to keep on top of the needs of our community during the recent Hurricane Harvey and saved lives,” Machann said.

“Bobby Katsabas, owner of Snappy’s prepared and delivered great breakfast tacos,” Machann also said. “They were enjoyed by all that attended.”

Edison Saunders and Kyle Frische provided a tour of the Fire Station and all the information about how they protect the community with the latest technology and equipment.

There will be another Fire Station opened in November near Katy Mills.
