FULSHEAR (Covering Katy News) – The fourth annual Fulshear area Tribute to Fallen Heroes will be held on Memorial Day, May 28, at the Irene Stern Community Center in Fulshear beginning at 11 a.m.

This year’s tribute is titled “Our Day of Remembrance” and is jointly sponsored by the Fulshear Area Chamber of Commerce, the Fulshear-Simonton Lions Club, and the Brazos River Rotary Club.

The special guest speaker will be Recie Medlock whose heartfelt remembrance will come from his time in our country’s military.

The program will include other remembrances of all the fallen heroes of U.S. wars and their families as well as recognition of those who currently serve in this nation’s military forces.

Patriotic music will frame this annual observance. The musical guest will be award-winning Tori Vourganas, a multi-talented violinist, and vocalist. Also performing will be Fulshear High School’s 1st Chair trumpeter Tate Haugvoll who will play “Taps.”

The public is invited to attend this testimonial to the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice to their country.
