Fulshear Festival of Lights is Set for Saturday

FULSHEAR (Covering Katy News) – The City of Fulshear will be lighting its Christmas Tree on Saturday night.  The ceremony and all of its related family activities will be free.

The tree-lighting ceremony is Dec. 1 from 5 to 9 p.m. in downtown Fulshear.

“The Festival of Lights is going to be great,” said Fulshear-Katy Area Chamber of Commerce President Don McCoy. “It’s a big deal and fun for families,” he said.

There will be a parade prior to the Christmas Tree lighting. Then a band will play. The night will end with a fireworks show.

Popular local band Jus Coz will play. There will be a synthetic ice skating rink and a live Nativity scene.

Santa, the Frozen sisters, and a gingerbread man will all be making the rounds.
