FULSHEAR (Covering Katy News) – A construction worker who is a member of the crew building Katy’s newest high school in Fulshear was injured Thursday.
According to KHOU the man fell 25 feet after scaffolding collapsed. He reportedly suffered a broken leg but is expected to be ok.
It was not immediately clear what caused the scaffolding to collapse according to the KHOU report which quoted Major Chad Norvel of the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office as the source of its information.
John Marshall of Satterfield and Pontikes Construction had very little information to provide on Thursday afternoon but said the injured worker was still being evaluated at a local hospital.
