KATY (Covering Katy News) – The Gulf Coast Workforce Board along with its operating affiliate Workforce Solutions have opened the a newly expanded office serving Katy, western Harris County, northern Fort Bend County, and southern Waller County.
The new location at 24025 Katy Freeway, near the intersection of State Highway 99, will provide additional space for individuals to build their careers and give area employers the ability to host recruitment drives and pre-employment seminars.
The demand for our career and employer services had exceeded the capacity of our former location at Katy Mills,” said Workforce Solutions-Gulf Coast Executive Director Mike Temple. “We are incredibly excited to expand our footprint and services in the Katy area with our new location.”
“We are very happy to have this additional space to serve both our local employers and residents,” said Lance LaCour, President, and CEO of Katy Area Economic Development Council. “I know both will benefit from the expansion of services this new office provides.”
