KATY (Covering Katy News) – Free Starbucks, free water, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen televisions, multiple tablets for adults and kids, an enclosed indoor kids play area and an outdoor doggie play area are all part of the experience of the new Service First Automotive Center in Cinco Ranch. Houston-based company will open its first Katy location on July 16, 2018, at 2044 S. Mason Rd., north of Cinco Ranch Boulevard.
The 10,000-square-foot center will be the company’s fifth Houston-area location and brings approximately 30 new jobs to Katy.
“We are excited to change the way the Katy area thinks about their experience of going to have their car serviced,” says Nathan Pruski, Service First Automotive Centers co-founder. “It’s often a long unpleasant wait, ending with anxiety about whether you made the right choices. Instead, we built our business around a service-first attitude, transparency, expertise, and amenities that all combine to make you feel comfortable, empowered and satisfied.”
As part of a grand opening special, Service First Automotive Centers will offer 25 percent off all oil changes at the South Mason Road facility located a short distance north of Cinco Ranch Boulevard.
Service First will also be opening a store in Spring in the coming days. It will be the company’s sixth store in the Houston area, located at 2324 Rayford Rd.
Service First Automotive Centers further differentiates itself by providing free “digital inspections” with all services. Mechanics will perform digital inspections containing images from inside a customer’s vehicle that are used to explain precisely what part is being serviced, or in need of service. The report can also be emailed to a knowledgeable family member or trusted friend so customers can verify the need for any recommended services or repairs. Service First says their inspection and photos allow customers to have evidence of exactly what is right and wrong with their vehicle.
Service First Automotive Centers’ specially-designed facility offers an array of automotive services from routine maintenance to complex mechanical repair for all vehicle makes and models. One side of the building dedicates three lanes to speedy, full-service oil changes and state inspections. The opposite side conducts more comprehensive diagnostic and repair services on foreign and domestic vehicles, as well as diesel engines.
Service First Automotive prides itself on giving back to the community through various programs including its athletic sponsorships with Cinco Ranch and Taylor high schools. The company also offers the Service First Automotive Centers Humanitarian Scholarship at all locations, which recognizes high school seniors who make an impact in their communities. Another program is its “Wheels for Warriors” initiative, which donates a car to a deserving veteran each year. Service First will be announcing more on this year’s program in the fall.
Within the next year, the company plans to have a total of 13 locations open in the Houston area and at least 12 in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Service First Automotive Centers was founded in Spring in 2011 by Terral Hill and Nathan Pruski after the two business partners sought to change the image of the automotive repair industry.
“Hill and Pruski have decades of automotive repair experience and built the company focused on educating consumers by building trust through transparency and respecting its customers’ time and their choices,” said a company press release.
The new Cinco Ranch and Spring stores will join Service First’s four existing locations located in Spring, Champions, The Woodlands Creekside, and The Woodlands West.
Service First merged with Caliber Collision in August 2017 helping fuel expansion in the Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth metros, plus stores in the San Antonio and Austin areas in 2019. Find additional information at servicefirstautomotive.com.
