CITY OF KATY (Covering Katy News) – The hard work of many Katy Independent School District teachers will now be etched into Katy ISD’s historical legacy, as well as on commemorative bricks found at Katy Heritage Park at 5990 George Bush Drive.

The District, along with the Katy Heritage Society, Venus Construction and Country Park Portraits, will honor the 67 Katy ISD 2017-2018 Campus Teachers of the Year at a special brick unveiling event.

The event will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 5 from 6 to 7 p.m. Live music will be provided by the Katy High School Show Choir

For the past several years, the Katy ISD family and community has come together to honor the dedication and leadership of our outstanding district educators who make a difference in the lives of students. These commemorative bricks will leave a lasting legacy of their remarkable commitment to uphold the district’s vision of education.
