Sheriff Releases Video of South Fry Shell Station Armed Robbery

KATY (Covering Katy News) – The Harris County Sheriff wants your help identifying the man who robbed a Shell station at 535 South Fry Road, near the Katy Freeway.

Shortly before 11 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 21 the man entered the store and approached the counter. He asked the clerk if they carried a particular brand of cigarillos. As the man pretended to be reaching for his money he pulled a small black colored handgun and demanded all the cash from the drawer. The clerk handed the cash to the man who then quickly left the store.

The black male suspect is described as having a dark complexion and being between 18 to 20 years old. He is around 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 165 pounds.  He has a medium build with a small afro styled haircut. The subject was wearing a black colored t-shirt with “VANS” on the front.  He was also wearing a black baseball hat, black colored basketball shorts and black Nike flip-flops.
