HARRIS COUNTY (Covering Katy News) – A man who is charged with burglarizing a car in the Bear Creek neighborhood remains behind bars after his arrest last week. Bond is set at $1,000.
Deputies from Constable Ted Heap’s office have charged Aaron Threats, 19, with burglary of a motor vehicle in the 15800 block of Stanhope Court.
Burglary of unlocked cars has been a big problem in the Katy area for several years. Both the Harris County and Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Offices have been warning people to be sure their cars are locked, even when they are in the driveway.

Precinct 5 deputy constables say security cameras captured Threats checking for unlocked vehicles and rummaging through a car in the predawn hours of October 31. The video of that crime is above.
Threats is facing multiple felony charges from other cases unrelated to this burglary. Additional charges may follow too.
Threats is scheduled to be back in court today. (Monday, 11/19/2018).
