KATY/HARRIS COUNTY (Covering Katy News) – A Katy/Harris County home was targeted twice by a drive-by shooter on the same day. The first time the house was shot at 18 times. Later that night a shooter returned and sprayed an additional 30 rounds into the home. It happened Thursday, May 9, 2019.
The targeted home is on Plantation Cove Lane near McFee Elementary School which is part of the CyFair Independent School district. See map below.
According to KHOU Channel 11, the first attack happened at 1:48 a.m. Eighteen gunshots were fired at the house as Ned Allooh and his wife and two daughters were sleeping. The girls are 13 and 14 years old. The vehicle, according to the report, was caught on a nearby surveillance camera and can be seen in KHOU video above.

Allooh said his family heard the gunshots but did not realize their home had been targeted until they went downstairs several hours later. That’s when they called the Sheriff’s Office. He told KHOU that he assumed the shooter targeted the wrong house and did not expect another incident. He was wrong. At 11:41 p.m. the silver car returned and fired another 30 rounds at the house.
The bullets broke through front windows and struck kitchen countertops, cabinets and even the kitchen chairs where the two girls sit every day. Cars were also hit.
Right now Allooh has moved his family elsewhere. His message to the shooter, via KHOU, is that the shooter is targeting the wrong home. “Please leave us alone… it’s not us,” he said.
Neighbors are being asked to check their surveillance video to see if they have video of the car that was involved. See the KHOU video above to see the car and the damage that the shooter did to the Allooh’s home.
Another Drive-by shooting was reported early Saturday morning. This story is from Covering Fort Bend.
