HOUSTON – A former Cinco Ranch High School Football player has been arrested in connection with the homicide of Rice University football player Blain Padget.
Stuart “Mooch” Mouchantaf, 25, a former Rice University football player, has been charged with delivery of a controlled substance resulting in death. Mouchantaf faces five to 99 years in prison if convicted of the 2nd-degree felony.
Mouchantaf is accused of giving a pill to Padgett. The medical examiner says the pill killed Padget. His body was found inside his bedroom by teammates on March 2, 2018.
