Car Burglaries in Cimarron Creekstone Neighborhood Caught on Video

KATY (Covering Katy News) – Harris County Precinct 5 Constable Ted Heap’s office is releasing video of car burglaries from the Cimarron Creekstone neighborhood hoping that the public can help find the men responsible.

The men targeted numerous unlocked vehicles in the in the 22500 block of Kenlake Drive. All of the vehicles they burglarized were within a couple of blocks of each other.  The other locations where burglaries happened were in the following blocks:

  • 22400 Kenlake
  • 1300 Valley Landing
  • 22600 Indian Knoll
  • 22500 Round Valley

The video shows one man rummaging through the interior of a vehicle after hiding from a passing car. Another man can be seen checking the doors of parked cars to see if they are open. He also acted as a lookout for his accomplice.


One of the men was captured on video attempting to access the contents of a laptop that he found in a vehicle.

“If you recognize these burglars or have any information that might help with the investigation of this crime, please contact Investigator R. Valdez at 281-463-6666,” said a social media statement from the Precinct 5 Constables office.
