Accused Katy Sex Trafficker Arrested

Frank Roberts III

KATY/HARRIS COUNTY (Covering Katy News) – Frank Roberts III, the man who lived in Katy/Harris County and is accused of trafficking a 16-year-old girl has been arrested according to Precinct 5 Constable Ted Heap.

Roberts was wanted on charges of child trafficking and sexual performance of a child. He is one of four men charged with child trafficking the 16-year-old runaway.  She was found in his South Mason Road apartment in January. The other three were arrested earlier this month.

Precinct 5 released Roberts’ photo to the media. A person who saw the photo on Facebook alerted deputies of his whereabouts and he was arrested in Washington County without incident.

“We received a number of tips from present and past acquaintances that helped us locate and arrest this suspect,” Heap said. “With that help, we have been able to remove this wanted criminal from the streets and bring him to justice,” he added.
