Lone Star Symphonic Band Forming Community Chorus

KATY (Covering Katy News) – The Lone Star Symphonic Band is forming a community chorus to perform along with the band at its annual Patriotic Concert, titled “Our Nation…Our Heritage.” The concert will be held at 4 p.m. on July 1, 2018, at Holy Covenant United Methodist Church.  The church is located at 22111 Morton Rd., in Katy, TX.
No auditions are required to sing in the chorus, although attending rehearsals in June will be required to sing in the concert.  Rehearsals will take place on Sunday evenings – June 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th – from 6 pm to 8 pm at Holy Covenant United Methodist Church.  Mr. David Van Wyk, Choir Director at Morton Ranch High School, will lead rehearsals.
Anyone interested in singing in the chorus is asked to email the Band at info@lssband.orgor call 281-460-4517 to get their name and part on file for the performance roster and to make sure music is available for them at rehearsals.
The Lone Star Symphonic Band is a 501(c)3 nonprofit community band based in Katy, TX.  The 2017-2018 season is their 25th anniversary season.
