HOUSTON (Covering Katy News) – Veteran talk radio host Lance Roberts returns to Houston’s airwaves on Monday, January 7, 2019, After a short-lived “retirement.”
Roberts will rejoin KSEV AM 700/The Voice of Texas weekday mornings at 6 a.m. The fiscally conservative talk show host has been dishing out financial wisdom and economic observations as a Houston radio fixture since 2000.
“You never realize what you are missing until you are no longer doing something,” said Roberts. “I have always loved doing radio, and the opportunity to come back to my home at KSEV, where I spent a decade of my life, is thrilling. Plus, I get to do a show about topics I really enjoy – family, life, money, and the world around us – in an educational, humorous, and intelligent way.”
Roberts also confided that the “outreach from listeners I left behind has been overwhelming, so it makes “getting up at the crack of dawn’ to do a morning drive show much more enjoyable.”
