Suspected Child Sex Abuser Wanted by Harris County Sheriff’s Office

HARRIS COUNTY (Covering Katy) – Harris County Sheriff’s Office Child Abuse Unit investigators need the public’s help in locating a 41-year-old male who has been charged with the continuous sexual assault of a child. Court records say he lives in the 4200 block of Mangum in Houston and that he was scheduled to be in court on February 15th.

Investigators are searching for Reynaldo Zepeda, 40, who is five-feet-11-inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds. Zepeda has brown hair and brown eyes. According to Court Documents he is charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child.

He is accused of sexual abusing the 13-year-old daughter of his common law wife.  Deputies say the abuse continued over a period of nearly twenty months. The abuse came to light after Zepeda was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon of his common law wife and her 14-year-old son.

“Zepeda and the women were separated, when she came home to find Zepeda in the residence one night. She ordered him to leave and he became enraged and struck her several times,” said a statement issued by the Sheriff’s Office. “He then retrieved a knife and stabbed her in the upper torso area,” the statement also said.

According to deputies, the woman’s son came to aid of his mother and was also stabbed by Zepeda. Both victims recovered from their wounds. During the investigation daughter confided to her mother the sexual abuse she had endured from Zepeda.
