(HOUSTON, TX) – Responding to a citizen’s complaint, HCSO deputies arrived at a home in northwest Harris County only to discover a marijuana grow operation. Over 400 plants were seized at the home located in the 8500 block of Owen Lake Ct. and two people were arrested.
The marijuana’s street value is nearly $2 million.
The two arrested are Quoc Linh Ngo, 37, and Tuan Anh Vu, 37.
Vu was previously arrested for a grow house operation in Katy last year. He is in the Harris County Jail with no bond. Ngo’s bond is set at $630,000.
Agencies assisting the HCSO in this case were the DEA, DPS, and the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA), a federal task force.
